Biography

Youth and early career

He studied at the Barnaul Dynamo sports school, his first coach was V. N. Belozersky. He started playing for Dynamo Barnaul in the second league of the USSR Championship, then played for Zarya from Leninsk-Kuznetsky. In this team, Kormiltsev played together with Alexei Smertin, whom he had known since childhood.

"Uralan"

"Torpedo"

Not often joining the Dynamo Kyiv squad, Kormiltsev decided to move to another team, and, at the invitation of coach Vitaly Shevchenko, with whom he worked in 1998 at Uralan, the footballer returned to Russia, signing a contract with the Moscow Torpedo. The transfer cost the Moscow club 500 thousand US dollars.

He played his first match for Torpedo on July 4, 2000 against Moscow Spartak, coming on as a substitute in the 15th minute of the match. He scored his first goal as a member of the black and white team on August 10, 2002 against Yaroslavl Shinnik.

"Zarya" Lugansk

Signed a six-month contract with the Ukrainian club Zarya from Lugansk. He was chosen as captain of the Lugansk team. He returned to Barnaul, where he played for the amateur team Kommunalshchik.

At the beginning of September 2007, he was appointed head of the selection department of the Moscow Torpedo.

Dynamo Barnaul

In February 2008, he returned to football as a player, signing a one-year contract with his first club in his career - Dynamo Barnaul, which played in the first division. However, during the break between rounds of the championship, a new coach, Gennady Morozov, came to the team, with whom Sergei refused to work.

Forced to end his football career, Sergei Kormiltsev took up coaching at Dynamo (Barnaul). However, in September 2010, Sergei was caught violating RFU regulations: as a coach of the Barnaul club, he placed bets on the outcome of his own team’s matches:

On July 26, the teams of the eastern zone of the second division “Sakhalin” and “Dynamo” (Barnaul) met in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. And a few days before the match, one of the bookmakers recorded a series of bets made using a mobile phone roaming in the Far East. Within 15 minutes, the owner of the phone, who registered at the office under the name Sergei Kormiltsev, bet a total of 14,700 rubles, dividing it into 13 bets. Basically these were “express” bets, that is, bets on 2-3 outcomes at once. All "express" trains featured the game "Sakhalin" - "Dynamo".

Kormiltsev did not bet on the victory of one of the teams, but on the guests winning after the first half and losing at the end of the entire game (in the language of bookmakers - W2W1). The odds for such a tricky scenario were 25. Several single bets were made: on the scores 0:3 and 2:3 (in both cases with odds of 40), as well as on the fact that at least 3 goals would be scored in the game (with odds 2) .

And already on September 6, 2010, Kormiltsev wrote a letter of resignation from the club. He was later banned for one year from participating in any football-related activities.

Game characteristics

He played as a midfielder, had an excellent penetrating pass and was good at making tackles.

As his former partners note, he has an extraordinary sense of humor and was an informal leader in the team. In Torpedo, and then in Zarya Lugansk and Dynamo Barnaul, he became team captain.

"Dynamo" Kyiv

In 1998, on the recommendation of Yakovenko, Kormiltsev signed a three-year contract with Dynamo Kyiv, coached by Valery Lobanovsky. Kormiltsev often played in the Dynamo-2 reserve team, which played in the first league; in the main team, he appeared on the field in only 28 championship matches and 10 European cup matches. Nevertheless, Dynamo, together with Kormiltsev, twice became national champions and won the national cup twice.

National team career

Russian team

In 1998, as a Uralan player, Kormiltsev received a call to the Russian national team, in which he took to the field once. On November 18, 1998, the Russian national team, led by Anatoly Byshovets, played a friendly game in Brazil, where they lost to the home team with a score of 1:5. Kormiltsev was in the starting lineup, but did not show himself in any way and was replaced already in the 38th minute of the match.

Ukrainian national team

He was invited to play for the Ukrainian national team on the initiative of Valery Lobanovsky, who led Dynamo Kyiv. He, as well as two other Russian Dynamo players Artyom Yashkin and Sergei Serebrennikov, had to take Ukrainian citizenship for this.

He made his debut in the Ukrainian national team on April 26, 2000 in a friendly match with the Bulgarian national team, which ended in an away victory for the Ukrainians with a score of 1:0.

He continued to be called up to the national team after leaving Dynamo.

In the qualifying round for the 2006 World Cup, national team coach Oleg Blokhin called Kormiltsev to several training camps, but he was not included in the team that went to the world championship in Germany. However, he was awarded the title of “international master of sports”.

In total, he held 15 meetings as part of the national team, of which 4 were official.

Baikal coach Sergei Kormiltsev spoke about his expectations from tomorrow's match of the 1/16 finals of the Russian Cup with CSKA.

- Is the upcoming match the most important in your coaching career?

If not the most important, then definitely high-status. I have never faced such an opponent as a coach before. I hope the most important match is yet to come ( laughs). After all, in football everything is possible.

- Is there a real sensation in the city?

Otherwise! The excitement is serious. People, waiting for a real holiday, want to see this game with their own eyes. According to my information, 12 thousand will come to the match. This is a lot for Irkutsk. In addition, many will come from the region.

- Don’t the players’ knees shake?

The game will show. In such matches there is nothing to lose, but a lot to gain. We set them up for a good game and a decent result. We need to please the fans.

- Surely you remember the games against CSKA, when you defended the colors of Torpedo?

Certainly. How can you forget this? The most exciting match? I will probably highlight two meetings. I remember we were leading 3:0 at Eastern, but ended up winning 3:2. And the second match took place after the 2004 European Championship. Then “Torpedo” was in first place. We were losing 0:2, and then scored three goals in three minutes. Igor Lebedenko scored a double and Semshov scored another goal. And right at the end, Kirichenko evened the score - 3:3. Crazy intense fight!

- It’s not a shame that you didn’t score a single goal for CSKA.

It's OK ( laughs). I had a hard time with goals in general. I remember I didn’t hit a goal at all for 2.5 years. So there is nothing to be sad about.

However, you were considered one of the most creative midfielders in the Russian Championship with a subtle passing game. Whose play in your position do you like now?

I will single out two football players from CSKA - Eremenko and Dzagoev. I will also mention Shirokov. Now, unfortunately, there are not many playmakers in the RFPL. In our time there were, for example, Loskov, Titov and so on. Performers of a very serious level.

- Can you compare yourself with Eremenko or Dzagoev?

Oh, not an easy task... I remember seeing Eremenko training at the Rubin training camp in Turkey. His work made a strong impression on me. The level was immediately visible. Subtlety and precision of transmissions. Technical equipment - everything is with him.

- How did they perceive that if CSKA had not won against Mordovia, the main team would have flown to Irkutsk?

I didn’t see any disdain in her! This is all speculation. Leonid Viktorovich treats his opponents with respect. In our time, we also flew to cup matches against First League teams with less than optimal squads. Everything is fine. No matter who comes, CSKA is CSKA. They don't keep bad football players there.

- Then, from the point of view of the result f, maybe it’s good that CSKA won in Saransk. Now, in fact, only Fernandez, Wernbloom and Natkho from the main army team will fly to Irkutsk.

This does not give us any advantage. On the contrary, the young guys from CSKA have something to prove to Slutsky. Their eyes will burn. It will be interesting to look at the younger Natkho, Golovin. Panchenko is also a good level player. And most importantly, they all understand that they are fighting for the honor of a club like CSKA. The last match with Mordovia demonstrated the team's fighting spirit.

-Have you seen such matches for a long time?

That's for sure. Moreover, we had a game, and we only made it to the second half. The most juice ( laughs). What can I say - the team's morale is in perfect order. The army team also showed character in the Champions League matches with Sparta and Sporting. Something didn't work out with Wolfsburg.

And so, CSKA is the leader of the championship. Before that, we played in the Cup with one of the FNL favorites, Tomyu. Now with the army guys. Somehow I haven’t had much luck with the lot yet.

- Maybe you’ll be lucky in the 1/8 finals?

Provocative question ( laughs)

- Does it hurt to watch the fate of Torpedo?

I follow the news from the car manufacturers. It is difficult to draw far-reaching conclusions, since I am not inside the club. In any case, it’s a pity that we lost such a team... After all, former Torpedo players are now playing in the Premier League - Mamaev, Lebedenko, my good friend Kostya Zyryanov is playing in the FNL.

- Did he wish you something before the game with the army team?

Haven't talked yet. I hope there will be a pleasant occasion after the game.

- Do you have a feeling that you will create a sensation tomorrow?

I would like the match with CSKA to start as soon as possible, and Irkutsk to plunge into a real football festival!

Sergei Kormiltsev: the ideal goal should be scored from the goal line

An interview with the midfielder of the Moscow Torpedo and the Ukrainian national team Sergei Kormiltsev, in which he spoke about the path of his development in big-time football.

Sergei Kormiltsev is a Russian football player who accepted Ukrainian citizenship for the sake of
careers on the international stage. Even in the last qualifying round, he regularly
competed under the blue and yellow flag. But Oleg Blokhin does not attract the captain
Moscow "Torpedo" and one of the best midfielders of the Russian championship in
the composition of the squad entrusted to him.

A football player agrees to an interview extremely rarely, but to the correspondent’s questions
“2000” answered very frankly.

- Sergey, did you make the decision to become a non-public person consciously?
- Everything happened by itself. Who is usually in sight? The one who scores goals, and I'm on
the field is not such a prominent figure. Yes, and I don’t strive for publicity, although I’m a person
funny. In a team, for example, I can say a lot of things, but with strangers
It’s hard to get along with people.

- Your game attracts inventiveness. Where does this non-standard come from?
thinking?

- In youth football and in the first years of professional football, coaches gave
the opportunity to improvise. The “old men” in the team “didn’t stifle.” In Barnaul
Dynamo encouraged unusual moves on the field, and Zarya from Leninsk-Kuznetsk
In general there were a lot of young people. We were allowed everything, even in our own penalty area
to beat your opponents... Now it’s also very pleasant to play at Torpedo. We have
all midfielders act with an emphasis on technique, hence the improvisation in
team actions.

- Almost all football players, regardless of their role, admit that they
I like to shoot on goal. You don't like to disturb goalkeepers. This component
Are you not interested in games because they are too simple?

- For me, the ideal goal should be scored from the goal line. In general, when is it long
If you can’t hit the goal, then, when you find yourself in the shooting position, you think:
good point, but I won’t score again, it’s better to give it to my partner, he has
more chances. I miss selfishness. I want to rebuild, I’m getting ready, but I’m leaving
on the field and I forget...

There were times when I was one of the top scorers at Zarya and Uralan in Elista.
He scored regularly, even from 20 meters. And in Dynamo Kiev and then in Torpedo
I can’t hit the goal. But I can’t say that this is only out of doubt.
I am a fairly confident person.

- Which club made you a professional football player?
- I grew up in skill at Uralan. After that they became interested in my person
famous teams. For which I am grateful to Pavel, who then coached the Elista team
Yakovenko, who taught me a professional approach to business. True, I realized this
not right away. At first I even ran away from the team - I couldn’t withstand heavy loads:
Three workouts a day is no joke. But then I gradually got involved in work,
I realized that I was worth something. For the first time, much of the team’s actions depended on me. From
I turned an ordinary player into a leader. My rivals began to pay me more attention
attention, the defenders began to take personal care...

Of course, it was especially interesting in Dynamo Kiev. Get into it after
The Elistas were great. In Kyiv I saw what was being done in this city for the team, for
football players. I met Valery Vasilyevich Lobanovsky. He alone
the glance was enough for the player not to stop during the entire match, but
ran around like crazy. The team speed at Dynamo is crazy. I'm immediately huge
I felt the contrast with Uralan. He played for Dynamo-2 and was by no means
the worst. After each match in Kyiv, a printout of technical and tactical actions
issue. I had 154-160 of them. This, believe me, is an impressive indicator. IN
in the main squad I was assigned to the position of left defensive midfielder,
built into the action plan, but not allowed on the field. For example, Alexey
Mikhailichenko, before joining the main team, played in the reserve team for many years. But
I couldn’t wait - I didn’t like sitting on the bench. Not enough
patience. Therefore, when Vitaly Shevchenko called me to Torpedo, I immediately got ready
to Moscow.

- Dynamo Kiev has long been considered a grand team in the post-Soviet
space. Is there a recipe that can make you play there?

- The most important thing is sportsmanship and patience. Football players gathered in Kyiv
high class, the composition there is very smooth. I came from Uralan, where I was
leader, and I had to sit on the bench. I began to delve into myself, and this often happens
makes it difficult to concentrate on work.

- Looking at the current Dynamo, it seems that such qualities
only football players from far abroad have, because they are often part of the Kiev team
2-3 Ukrainians come out.

- When I watched the Champions League match between Dynamo and Bayer, I caught myself
I thought that I had no one to root for in this fight. My friend Valentin
Belkevich was not on the field - absent due to injury. Ten foreigners in
Dynamo's lineup is not entirely correct. It's hard for me to judge what it is like now
atmosphere in the team, but in my time we had a very friendly team. I
came from Uralan with Artem Yashkin. Then Sergei appeared at the club
Serebrennikov. We were received well and quickly adapted.

- Do you maintain relationships with your former partners?
- Alas, this does not always work out. I recently spoke with Alexander Kiryukhin,
whose last refuge was relegated from the Ukrainian major league
Boryspil "Borisfen". Yashkin got lost somewhere in Korea. I only communicate with
Valik Belkevich. He invited me to his wedding, but, unfortunately, I didn’t
was able to come.

- Which trainers are easier for you to work with?
- It’s important for me that the mentor doesn’t shy away from side to side - that’s what he likes
my game, then suddenly not. In Torpedo this is all right. An additional advantage
team is also the fact that all players speak Russian and understand
each other and the coach. For example, I’m not sure if I could play in a team,
the backbone of which is made up of foreigners.

- Nowadays, football players change teams one after another. In your opinion,
the concept of club patriotism in the past?

- As soon as big money came into football, patriotism was leveled. Of course, in

representations.

- Do you quickly forget defeats?
- On the contrary, I worry for a long time, and if I played poorly myself... After the match I have a dream
Which? At four o'clock you just fall asleep. “Torpedo” is now often on television
show at night. I come home, turn on the TV, watch and wonder: how could I
at one point or another to choose such a bad move?! However, the entire last match
I remember, down to the details. I go and spend the whole week sorting out: I played correctly, I played incorrectly.

- Does football player Kormiltsev have a typical mistake?
- I'm in too much of a hurry sometimes. The desire to maintain the pace fails. It seems
I need to stop, hold the ball a little, and I immediately pass it to my partner.

- In the last championship, after the first lap, the car manufacturers were in the lead. However, according to
at the end of the championship they finished fifth. What was missing for a higher
result?

- Experience and tournament strategy. We will try to take into account last year's mistakes in this year's
championship and complete a local task to increase the final score. That is
get into the European Cup. I think we are quite capable of doing this now.

- How does Torpedo feel about the fact that the team captain is a foreign player?
- Absolutely normal. At least the guys fully trust the role of the mediator
between management and team. And the coaching staff consults with me. AND
When I say that the workload is too high, mentors often reduce it.

- Where will you settle after finishing your career?
- Most likely, in Kyiv. Moscow is not very suitable for me. In Ukrainian
I feel much more comfortable in the capital. Let's say I spent my winter vacation in Ukraine.
However, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm not planning on ending my career yet.
I’ll play football for about 12 years. (Laughs).

- What about the desire to return to the Ukrainian national team?
- There is no point in discussing this issue at this time. I don't think I'm particularly needed

- If you had not chosen the profession of a football player at one time, what would happen in your life?
