There were 2 ways to issue a card - through the Internet and in Distribution centers. The Center was faster, but they only worked in 11 host cities.

Step 1. Buy a ticket for the match

With a Fan Passport, get sick as much as you like!

The procedure for selling tickets included 5 stages:

1. September 14-October 12, 2017 - ticket sales by random draw.
2. November 16-28, 2017 - ticket sales on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. December 5-January 31, 2018 - sale by drawing.

A fan ID is also useful when booking tickets for matches and when traveling on special trains. It will also allow free travel on public transport in cities hosting football tournaments.

Visa regime

A fan passport allows you to avoid mandatory identification for foreigners - in fact, it replaces a visa. The leadership of the Russian Federation decided to cancel visas for all guests of the country with a Fan ID for the duration of the 2018 World Cup and the 2017 World Cup.

“We expect that the Confederations Cup will be attended by about 700 thousand fans, and the World Cup by 3.5 million spectators,” Deputy Prime Minister for Sports Vitaly Mutko.

Where and how to get a fan ID?

Registration online

You can apply for a fan passport online on the official site fan-id.ru

On the website you can fill out a form and send an application for a FAN ID, check the status of the application, and find out all the additional information. In this case, after your application is approved, you can receive a Fan ID either in person at the Issue Centers or by mail. In addition, notifications about the status of your application will be sent via SMS to the number you specified and via email.

Personal presence

Information about the location and work schedule of Distribution Centers can be found on the official website fan-id.ru in a special section.

Closer to the start of the tournament, new FAN ID Issuance Centers will appear. To register an application at the Issuance Center, you must have an original identification document with you (birth certificate for children under 14 years of age).
